LIFE is Love Intimacy Freedom Empowerment
God is love. God loves you. Jesus reduces the Bible into two commandments of 1) love God and 2) love your neighbors. If you truly love your family you will never lie to them, you will never hurt them, and you will do everything to improve their lives. If you truly love your neighbors you will never lie, steal, kill, hurt or cheat them, but you will help them. God’s love is love in action that includes forgiving others even though they do not deserve to be forgiven.
God wants you in His family that is surrounded by love. God traded His Son Jesus for you. Jesus was the perfect sacrificial lamb that paid God’s full price for sin so you could join God’s family. God says make Jesus your Lord or Master and give Jesus your sin. Each day includes repenting because each day we sin. Jesus paid for your healing, peace and all of God’s many promises for a whole complete life.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Romans 5:8
God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Intimacy God wants to become your intimate close friend. You get to know someone by spending time with them. You know somebody by knowing how they act and how they feel about things. God knows everything about you including the number of hairs on your head. The Bible is God’s love story. The Bible is also basic instructions before leaving earth. God the Father wants you to know Him and His love, joy, hope, peace, etc. God also wants you to love God by knowing more about Him and His intricate facets. I read the Bible daily and pray often. I enjoy reading Psalms where God is described along with His incredible abilities. Many Psalms have David upset because the wicked seem to get the good deal while he gets the bad deal. God keeps His word true so God is the deal maker and Satan father of lies is the deal breaker. The Bible has many do this get that. If you do this, then God can give you that. God wants to bless you as bless means 1) happy, 2) successful and 3) favored by God. God is the best Father.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
Psalm 37:4
Delight yourself also in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Ephesians 2:10
For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.
Freedom is power and control to act, speak, and think as one wants without hindrance or restraint. Freedom is not being chained to sins. A bear in the zoo had a ten foot chain about its leg. The bear wore a severe scar into its leg the first three years trying to escape and play. The scar became smooth skin as the bear moved slightly less than ten feet. The person giving the bear its weekly bath forgot to chain the bear back up. The bear stayed less than ten feet away from the post with the chain not attached to the bear. The bear was a slave to the distance of that chain. The bear could not enjoy freedom even though freedom was given. Once habits are formed the habits remain. God wants you to be reborn into His family by giving your sin to Jesus and by making Jesus your Lord. God wants your life to be whole and complete through Jesus.
John 8:34
Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin."
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Romans 6:14
Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.
Empowerment is accessing God’s power so you are victorious. Disciple Peter went back to fishing after Jesus rose from the dead. Jesus told His disciples to stay in Jerusalem until they received God’s power. God put the Holy Spirit within them on Pentecost. The Holy Spirit is God within you as you accept Jesus as your Savior. The Holy Spirit possesses a dynamite-like power that works within a believer to blast out anything that is unlike God. The Holy Spirit has access to God’s power. God gives you power over sickness and disease. God gives you power over hope, peace and love. You must believe in yourself and Jesus when nobody believes in you. Satan’s purpose is to steal kill and detroy. Satan wants to chain you down to sin where like the bear you go out ten feet to sin / eat and return back to watch hellevision where the TV news shows stealing, killing and destroying. God wants you to improve your free life with a better mind, soul, body and spirit.
Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Psalm 118:14
The Lord is my strength and my song. He has given me victory.
John 10:10
Jesus "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."
The Bible is God’s love story. Jesus paid your full price to bring you into God’s family of love. Jesus gives you His strength to defeat Satan. Jesus shall return to earth to bring you into heaven to avoid the seven years of painful tribulation. Jesus the good Shepherd will take you to the living waters of heaven and there is no pain in heaven.
